Law of Attraction
What do you attract into your life most of the time? Is it a constant stream of amazing, inspiring, joyful things?
Or is it the opposite?
Or is it a bit of both randomly appearing here and there?
Is it what you want or do you wish you could attract better things and a better life for yourself?
That's a lot of questions to start an article off with, but they're there for a reason. The reason is what causes good or bad or indifferent circumstances to run through your life.
It's all about what you attract.
What is the Law of Attraction?
What you draw towards you is a course of action that stems from what thoughts you hold in your mind and how you feel about them. It is known as the Law of Attraction.
It is not entirely unlike the way magnetism works in that certain metallic substances are attracted to the pull of a charged magnet. Except it is not physical attraction generated by a magnetic force, but the attraction of energy of like frequencies.
The incredible thing about this is that the controlling center for attracting like energy into your life is the thought processes that happen in your mind!
Thoughts are energy sources, just like any other and they vibrate at certain frequencies, depending on what you're thinking about and how you're feeling. This is important to grasp, so read this and re-read it.
The things or circumstances that you attract to you are vibrating on fixed frequencies. And it is only when your thoughts are emitting the same or similar frequencies do they attract each other!
Think about that!
What Are You Attracting?
If you want to attract a happy circumstance, your mind needs to be emitting thoughts that vibrate on a "happy" frequency. Even more amazing is you can direct and control your thoughts, so if you deliberately think happy thoughts, you will attract things to you that will make you happy.
On the flip side, if you're thinking about a horrible story you just read in the newspaper and you're feeling angry or sad about it, you are absolutely not going to attract anything happy.
Since most, if not all news stories that get printed are bad news, it would pay you to not read newspapers!
Instead, devote your spare mental time to generating thoughts that are in keeping with the things or circumstances you want to draw to you. The entire universe around you is made up of energy and will respond to your thoughts by bringing to you whatever is in tune with the frequency that your thoughts are vibrating on.
It makes sense to avoid dwelling on negative emotionally based thoughts.
- Thoughts of anger will attract situations to make you angry
- Hateful thoughts will bring you things to hate
- Fearful and worrisome thoughts will bring you things to make you fearful and give you more to worry about
There is no room for ambiguity here. Whatever you're thinking, you will attract it whether you want it or not.
The concept is actually very simple.
Aim for positive thoughts and you will attract mostly positive outcomes.
That is, in a nutshell, what the Law of Attraction is and basically how it works in your life. Whether you believe in it or not, it's there, it's real (just as real as gravity) and it will bring you what you unconsciously ask for as it translates your thoughts and the associated emotions literally.
